SPEAKERS
Alessandro Santi
Alessandro Santi, born in Venice in 1966, holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Padua. He is a maritime shipping agent, insurance broker, and technical director of a travel agency. He has held numerous positions in the maritime and tourism sectors: he served as President of the Veneto Association of Maritime Agents, Vice President of Federagenti and FIAVET Veneto, and board member of Venezia Terminal Passeggeri and Venice Yacht Pier.
He is currently a board member of the Chamber of Commerce of Venice and Rovigo and Deputy Vice President of the Venice Port Community. He was President of Federagenti (2020–2024), now serving as Past President, and since 2024, he has been a board member of the Federazione del Mare and FASC.
He manages companies operating in logistics and IT, and is a speaker and lecturer on topics related to transport and port systems, as well as the author of various publications including: “Venezia and Cruises: a possible balance”.
Alessandro Stagni
Alessandro Stagni is the CTO of nlcomp, an innovative startup developing sustainable materials for the composites industry. A sailor and mechanical engineer specializing in composite materials, he led the development of rComposite—a recyclable thermoplastic material that addresses the end-of-life issue of fiberglass. With nlcomp, he has collaborated with major shipyards such as Cantiere del Pardo and Devoti Sailing, and has received international recognition for his commitment to sustainable innovation in the boating sector.

Emil Abirascid, journalist, founder and editor of Startupbusiness, the first magazine dedicated to Italy’s startup and innovation ecosystem. Co-founder of Designtech, the innovation hub bridging design and technology. Advisor to Austrian Business Agency, Emil Banca, Fondazione Symbola, and Fondazione Quadrans. Lecturer at Domus Academy.
