SPEAKERS
Alessandro Santi
Alessandro Santi, born in Venice in 1966, graduated in Electronic Engineering in Padua. He is a shipping agent, insurance broker and technical director of a travel agency. He has held numerous positions in the maritime and tourism sector: he was President of the Association of Maritime Agents of Veneto, Vice President of Federagenti and FIAVET Veneto, director of Venezia Terminal Passeggeri and Venice Yacht Pier. He is currently a director of the Chamber of Commerce of Venice and Rovigo and Deputy Vice President of Venezia Port Community. He was President of Federagenti (2020-2024), now Past President, and since 2024 he has been a director of Federazione del Mare and FASC. Director of companies active in logistics and IT, he is a speaker and teacher on topics related to transport and ports, and author of publications including “Venice and Cruises: a possible balance”.
Alessandro Stagni
Alessandro Stagni is CTO of nlcomp, an innovative startup that develops sustainable materials for the composites industry. A sailor and mechanical engineer specialized in composite materials, he followed the development of rComposite, a recyclable thermoplastic material that solves the end-of-life problem of fiberglass. With nlcomp he has collaborated with important shipyards such as Cantiere del Pardo and Devoti Sailing and has received international recognition for his commitment to sustainable innovation in the nautical industry.

Emil Abirascid, journalist, founder and editor of Startupbusiness, the first magazine dedicated to Italy’s startup and innovation ecosystem.
