SPEAKERS

Diana Saraceni
Diana Saraceni is co-founder and General Partner of Panakes, a Venture Capital firm focused on early-stage investments in the life sciences sector, mainly in Europe and the US. With over 20 years of experience in Venture Capital, she also co-founded and managed 360 Capital Partners, another leading pan-European Venture Capital firm. She has led investments in a significant number of companies across Europe, not only in the life sciences sector, and has generated several exits such as IPOs and M&A transactions. Diana also sits on several committees in Europe and the US for the awarding of public and private grants and awards to startups. She also follows several portfolios in neuroscience, oncology, endoscopy, tissue regeneration, ophthalmology and pain.

Gabriele Grecchi
Gabriele Grecchi is CEO of KLISBio, a regenerative medicine company founded 10 years ago to bring one of the oldest biomaterials – silk – to the disposal of surgeons to solve unmet clinical needs. Before that, he spent ten years at Credit Suisse investing resources for institutional funds around the world. He is the father of three children who – like everything else he has done in his adult life – are the result of Alessandra’s generous love. Before being an entrepreneur in the life sciences, he worked in the world of finance, was a global investor for 10 years, and before that in the world of fashion, organized fashion shows and events, and there he fell for it from the world of video games. This being always “outside the box” pushes him to seek excellence in what he does and to dig deep into the reasons that drive certain sectors.
